HOW TO GET DEEP BLUE ?
1. Raw materials
Polygonum indigo sown in spring is trimmed in early summer, dried and cut into about 1.5cm
2. Fermentation
Pour water on the leaves and pile them up, and take care of them while stirring according to the weather and temperature of theday, and ferment and steam boil with the high temperature.
3. Indigo mud is formed.
Add water, fennel, flour, etc., and keep the temperature at about 0 degrees. Microorganisms go to work, ferment. After about 1 week, the indigo mud was formed.
4. Dyed cloth
In the indigo mud, add hot water, rice wine and plant ash, and stir well. After standing for 2-3 days, soak the fabric in the dyeing solution and dye it repeatedly.
5. Deep blue
Through repeated dyeing and washing, the oxidation changes from green to blue, until from light blue to deep blue.
6. Air dry
Wash, hang and air dry. After drying, the factory processes it into various clothes.
